Transfers
In the month of December employees who want to be considered for a transfer
during the following year may complete up to two (2) Request for Transfer forms
and submit them to your department. Specific time and day and areas. Make sure
that you get copies of both transfers. These transfers are valid for the following
calendar year. After and if you transferred or promoted into a different
department may complete up to two (2) requests for transfer forms and submit
them to their new department after they have been in their new department a
minimum of six ( 6) months. These request for transfers forms will be valid for
the remainder of the calendar year. If the department changes an employee's
schedule that employee will be allowed to submit one request for transfer from
within thirty (30) days from when their schedule was changed.

When an employee is promoted or transferred to another classification will be
given a reasonable period, but not to exceed one (1) month to demonstrate if they
can perform the work. If the employee does not have the ability to perform the
work, they will be returned to the classification from which they were promoted
or transferred and given a written notice of the reason. If the employee requests
within the one (1) month period following a promotion or transfer from another
classification, the employee shall be returned within a one (1) month period
following their request. They shall be returned to a regular job opening in the
classification from which they were promoted or transferred. If there is no
regular job opening in the classification from which the employee was promoted
or transferred, the employee will be returned to any other regular job opening in
the same pay grade. If no openings exist in a regular opening the employee will be
returned to a classification in the same pay grade consistent with seniority and
ability to perform the work.

Mandatory Influenza Vaccination Policy
Influenza Season is an annually recurring season of increased prevalence of
influenza, usually in the fall and winter.

As a condition for employment, all employees covered by the AFSCME contract
must receive an annual influenza vaccination or possess a medical or religious
exemption that has been approved by the Religious Exemption Review
Committee (RERC).

Congratulations to the PFANS ware washers they are now kitchen cleaners. They
have moved up in pay grade.

I am currently working with EVS to upgrade the custodian 1s to unit custodians.
EVS has been given the green light to go ahead. Hopefully this will happen in the
coming month.
