Keep Informed -- Get Involved \ E-Mail The last election was a lot of work and that work meant great gains in shaping our government. But those electoral victories will ring hollow if the people WE elected don’t know what WE think. As Director of Legislation and Public Policy, I monitor a number of issues on your behalf. I try to speak for you whenever possible. But to make it really work, I need your input and your help. We need to know the issues facing you in your workplace. We need to hear your ideas and concerns. And we need to be able to communicate with you quickly as new developments occur in Lansing. Fortunately, the Internet and e-mail makes quick communication easier and efficient. We want to e-mail you when our friends are trying to move legislation that helps you. And we want to e-mail you when your rights are threatened by legislation advanced by our opponents. But we can’t do that if we don’t have your e-mail address. Please send your e-mail address to Council 25 Headquarters Receptionist Carol Moore at cmoore@miafscme.org. Please include your name and Local number. (Note: Please contact Carol Moore only to update e-mail addresses. Other problems or questions may be directed to the appropriate individuals within Council 25. For additional information, please see Solving Problems.)
